Online Branding Strategies – Why Do You Need A Brand?

There are two reasons s why you need a brand:

The first reason is:

… Because that is the way the way people are going to be able to identify with you …

Today’s marketplace is all about building relationships and we build trust and rapport fastest with people that we like and trust.

When you know what your brand is, when you have a ‘”brand strategy” – i.e. when you know who you are and what it is you stand for – and you are able to convey that to people in a clear and simple manner then people are going to be able to identify with you.

You will have a “customer for life” (provided you look after them!) because your customer will see themselves in your business, they will see your business as being ‘like them’.

The second reason is :
… Branding is the foundation on which your entire online marketing ‘platform’ is built. If you don’t take the time to understand your brand, if you don’t take the time to understand how to brand yourself and the reasons why you need a brand,  then the rest of your marketing is going to be shaky at best. It will be like building a house of cards on the sand. You will struggle to really build the rest of your marketing because if your customers don’t get ‘who you are’, they will not get ‘why they should do business with you’ either.
